Following Hurricane Milton’s catastrophic impact on the Gulf Coast, Tom Brady is helping Florida by contributing $100,000 to the victims who are in dire need of necessities. A day after Milton’s arrival in the Sunshine State, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, who spent three seasons in Tampa Bay and won a Super Bowl, made his gift public on Thursday.
Brady stated: “In the wake of Hurricane Milton, I’ll be making a donation of $100k to help get essentials like food, water and first aid to fellow Floridians in need,”
The future Hall of Famer disclosed that the Volunteer Florida Foundation will profit from his donation, which will be matched by Go Puff, a delivery service for food and groceries. When Brady joined the Buccaneers in 2020, he made Florida his second home after playing in New England for 20 seasons.
In the same season, he earned his seventh SB with the Bucs. Brady, who is currently an NFL commentator on FOX, also has a Miami beachfront mansion. In less than two weeks, Hurricane Milton is the second powerful storm to hit Florida. Millions of people are without power, and several people have reportedly been killed.
