$7,000 Wine Night of LeBron James and Draymond Green

NBA players take advantage of the off-season to enjoy the results of their hard work after a long season of competitive basketball. LeBron James and Draymond Green were the grapes this summer.

After an Olympic victory in Paris, James invited his longtime pals Rich Paul, Maverick Carter, and Draymond Green to enjoy a sumptuous selection of French wines.

“Super Vino Bros,” a viral sommelier, learned about James’ seven-bottle night in late August. In order to determine the exact amount that the King and Green spent on their night out three months ago, they delved deep. These are their well-informed findings:

Clos De Tart 2017 Grand Cru Monopole – $600 x 2

Clos La Roche 1988 – $1375

Chateau Margaux 1990 – $1199

Domaine Jean-Louis Chave 2000 – $575

Chateau Lafite-Rothschild 2010 – $1450

Clos St. Jacques Domaine Armand Rousseau 2017 – $1695

LeBron James’s and other NBA stars obsession with wine

LeBron and Dray spent $7494 on high-end whiskey during the evening. To a billionaire like LBJ, it might not seem like a huge sum. The group appeared to have had a great time that evening. On his Instagram stories, the King even posted a photo of every bottle.

A number of NBA superstars have succumbed to the wine craze. Dwyane Wade, a teammate of LeBron James at Miami Heat, opened his own cellar in 2014. Although he has prospective partnerships with well-known spirits companies like Hennessy Whiskey and Lobos Tequila, The King has not yet followed suit.

Together with the rest of the Cavaliers lineup, Wade and James, who were teammates in Cleveland at the time, traveled to the Mayacamas Vineyards in Napa Valley in 2018.
