Right now, the Colorado Buffaloes have a lot going for them. The team, led by head coach Deion Sanders, is hoping for a major bowl game and more after finishing with a 6-2 record in a pivotal second season. Under the leadership of quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way standout Travis Hunter, the club keeps winning thanks to its greatest players.
The action on the field isn’t everything, though. The team is as cohesive off the field as ever. The players simply like playing for their coach. Even though Shedeur is Deion’s son, he does not receive any preferential treatment.
In spite of this, Shedeur is at ease with Deion on the football field. But too cozy, maybe?
At Colorado’s practice, Shedeur Sanders dons Deion’s old football cleats
Deion approached Shedeur, who was sporting Deion’s vintage football cleats, at a recent session. However, supporters’ ears perked up when Shedeur stated one particular thing. Many individuals commented on Deion’s post after noticing the same phenomenon.
If Shedeur had been younger, that kind of remark might have gotten him a little detention, but for the most part, they thought it was humorous and didn’t see it as Shedeur truly disrespecting his father. Some of the comments were :
“Prime don’t let em keep saying yo lil shoes”
“Not supporting his lil shoes!!! These kids today!”
“‘Your little shoes..’ Your own kids will keep you grounded
While many admirers noted that the shoes “paved the way” for his sons, Deion made it plain to Shedeur that he “appreciates” Shedeur’s support. The family company is doing quite well.
