Joe Burrow : My “Most Frustrating” Season Ever !

Let’s put it this way: the Bengals are having a terrible season. Although he has been able to maintain his health, quarterback Joe Burrow hasn’t been able to do much on the field.

With the LA Chargers’ most recent crushing of them, the Bengals are currently 4-7 on the season. Following the Chargers’ 34-27 victory over the Bengals, Burrow was understandably embarrassed.

During the news conference following the game, the Bengals’ top quarterback called the 2024 season his “most frustrating.” Questioned as to why he just had one response: “Pretty self-explanatory.”

Joe Burrow speaks about his horror season

He’s talking about how close every game the Bengals have lost thus far has been. They lost six of their seven games by a score of seven points or less.

Although some might consider this to be a regrettable trend for Cincinnati, Burrow stressed that the team’s problems ultimately result from their incapacity to perform well under pressure. He stated: “Just gotta make the plays, just gotta make the plays. Down the stretch, we’re not a good enough team to––our margin of error is slim. So, we gotta make those plays. I gotta make those plays, we all gotta make those plays.”

It was very much the same in the Chargers game. The Bengals pulled off an incredible comeback after falling behind 27–6 at one point, tied the game at 27, a team record.

With less than 20 seconds left in the game, though, the Chargers scored the game-winning touchdown after breaking through the Bengals’ defense. The Bengals’ season is all but finished with this loss, and their window for the Super Bowl has passed. Fans’ dreams that Burrow would overcome Patrick Mahomes on the big stage have also vanished.
