The former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell just dropped a bombshell. He straight up said that he’s peacing out of the United States if Kamala Harris takes the win in the 2024 Presidential Election. Can you believe that?
I mean, come on, Le’Veon! We all know you’re a proud American ex-football player and everything, but really? Leaving the country just because of who becomes the President? That’s some next-level boldness right there.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, right? I guess Le’Veon is just really passionate about this. Can you blame him though? Politics has been getting crazier and crazier these days.
With the presidential campaigns in full swing, Bell has not stopped campaigning for his preferred candidate, Republican Donald Trump. However, in one of his most recent posts, he issued a threat that no one is sure how to take.
With just a couple of days until voters go to the polls, in an election expected to be one of the tightest in history, Bell made it clear that he would not accept defeat.
In a post on his X account, the former player said, “I’m leaving the country if Kamala Harris wins.” The post followed up on one of his previous comments in which he said “Good morning, vote Trump.”
Bell has not given his reasons for such a drastic threat, but in past statements, he has expressed his rejection of the Democratic candidate’s economic policies. This is without counting his sympathy for the former president’s charisma and personality.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We still have a day or two before the 2024 Presidential Election rolls around. Anything can happen in politics, so who knows if Le’Veon will go through with his plan.
Either way, it’s going to be one heck of a ride leading up to the 2024 election. Will Le’Veon pack his bags or will he have a change of heart? Only time will tell.
