Eva Longoria enjoyed some sun during the Christmas season. The former cast member of “Desperate Housewives” shared swimsuit photos on Instagram Thursday while she was “out of office” with her family.
In one picture, the 49-year-old actress approached the camera wearing a navy blue bathing suit and sunglasses. Then, in a slideshow, Longoria sat and ate while sporting the same swimsuit.
In other pictures, she wore a red outfit and posed with José Bastón, her husband, and their 6-year-old son, Santiago. The family watched the sunset, ate chilaquiles, and then went on a boat excursion.
It’s unknown if Santiago and her loved ones were at their residences in Mexico and Spain or on a tropical vacation. When the former soap opera star talked to Marie Claire about “escap[ing]” the US following Donald Trump’s presidential victory in November, she caused a stir.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, Longoria said, she “felt like [her] chapter [in Hollywood] was done.”
She clarified that she “didn’t leave [the country] because of the political environment” by calling Ana Navarro later that same week as the “View” co-host was filming the talk show’s “Behind the Table” podcast. “Will you please let them know I didn’t move out of the United States because of Trump?” the Golden Globe nominee questioned.
She talked about moving with Bastón, 56, and Santiago because “work took” her away before referring to herself as a “proud American.” Since May 2016, Longoria and the businessman have been wed.
