In connection with multiple targeted gangland killings, a 23-year-old Colombian woman known as “The Doll” was taken into custody, according to local reports.
Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, who police refer to as “La Muneca” or “The Doll,” was placed in handcuffs on Thursday for her alleged involvement in some high-profile killings in the Barrancabermeja municipality that were purportedly committed at the direction of the Los de la M gang, according to a report published in Spanish by Libertad Digital.
Before being arrested, Rodriguez was allegedly heading a small group of hitmen in the area and expanding her career, according to a story from Spanish publication Infobae.
The Doll and her many crimes across Columbia
According to Magdalena Medio Police, Rodriguez was taken into custody by police following her ex-boyfriend’s ambush assassination on July 23 in Piedecuesta, a remote district of Colombia.
According to the authorities, the femme fatale called her ex-boyfriend, Deyvy Jesus, and invited him to meet to settle a financial disagreement allegedly. Two men on a motorcycle drove by and shot the unwary beau down, apparently at “The Doll’s” request, leaving him covered in bullet wounds.
According to Libertad Digital, Rodriguez was detained with a 24-year-old accomplice named Paula Valentina Joya Rueda, also known as “Gorda Sicaria,” or “Fat Hitwoman.”
At the same time as “The Doll,” another accomplice, “Leopoldo,” was arrested; according to the police, they found a 9-millimeter caliber handgun and a revolver during the arrest.
According to local reports, police are investigating whether the firearms were used in any of the recent killings.

The charges against La Muneca and her suspected co-conspirators have not yet been made public by authorities.
