Jason Whitlock Enrages Angel Reese’s Followers by Blasting Her

Angel Reese for "Unrivaled" league

Veteran sports analyst Jason Whitlock’s candid criticism of Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has sparked controversy once more. Whitlock launched into a harsh critique of Reese on his most recent commentary, referring to her as the “most unskilled basketball player in the history of basketball.”

Whitlock asserted: “Angel Reese is the most unskilled basketball player in the history of basketball,” “She has energy, she has an attitude, she will rebound… nothing else.”

Fans have strongly reacted negatively to Whitlock’s remarks, which were made right before Rose BC’s 3×3 Unrivaled league matchup with Laces BC.

Angel Reese continues to perform despite critics blasting her

Reese, who has previously been the target of Whitlock’s constant criticism, decided to let her deeds on the court speak louder than words rather than replying orally.

Despite Whitlock’s comments, Reese gave one of her best performances of the season, showcasing her indisputable brilliance. The former LSU star finished Monday’s game with 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals in just 14 minutes.

She made 5-of-6 free throw attempts and was almost perfect from the field, shooting 3-of-5, including 1-of-2 from beyond the arc. The performance reaffirmed her status as one of the WNBA’s rising stars and provided a potent counterargument to Whitlock’s criticism.

Supporters swiftly praised Reese’s tenacity on social media, with one commenting, “Actions speak louder than words, and Angel just shut down the doubters.”
