L.A. Court Grants Megan Thee Stallion Restraining Order Against Tory Lanez

A judge is taking notice of Megan Thee Stallion‘s impassioned statements in court and has now ordered Tory Lanez to immediately cease harassing Megan from behind bars.

She told the judge during her videotaped testimony on Thursday in L.A. County Superior Court: “I want my restraining order because I haven’t been at peace since I [was] shot.”

Megan requested the order last month, alleging that Tory was utilizing a horde of bloggers to make disparaging comments about her as part of “psychological warfare” against her.

Through his father, she further claimed Tory, who is doing ten years in state prison for firing at her, was paying a certain blogger.

Megan Thee Stallion finds her peace with Tory behind the bars

According to Rolling Stone, Megan broke down in tears during her testimony and claimed that she is “a nervous wreck all the time” and that she frequently had to put up with fans shouting “Free Tory” at her concerts.

Persuaded that something needed to be done, the judge gave her a five-year restraining order, requiring Tory to keep at least 100 yards away from Megan’s house, place of employment, and/or vehicle. Because he is incarcerated, that part will be simple.

However, he is also prohibited from intimidating, harassing, threatening, or upsetting “the peace of [Megan].” Furthermore, Tory is not allowed to speak with her over the phone or online in any way, either directly or indirectly.

In court, his lawyers contended that the order would amount to a prior constraint on Tory’s right to free speech, but the judge obviously doesn’t agree.
