Every Warriors supporter is heartbroken to see Stephen Curry sitting on the bench with his head hanging and a towel wrapped around his face. Regretfully, it has been a bit too prevalent lately. For the Chef and the fans, disappointment has been rampant since mid-November.
During his appearance on WillardandDibs on 95.7 The Game, Steve Kerr was questioned about the team’s recent performance. Kerr responded, “I think the state of the team is good”. “We have great guys. They compete. They’re together. They’re connected. But losing sucks.”
Kerr turned to Stephen Curry and talked about how he’s a winner and how he finds losing difficult. He said: “If you’re Steph Curry and you’ve won four championships and a gold medal and you’re used to being on top, this really sucks. And so I don’t think there’s anything to read into when you see Steph hanging his head or guys hanging their heads, other than losing is no fun.”

Steve Kerr talks about the general mood after Stephen Curry’s viral image
According to Kerr, the atmosphere will not be favorable, particularly following the Celtics’ 40-point thrashing of them. He does, however, anticipate that his club will be prepared to play the Kings in an NBA Rivals Week game tomorrow.
“I expect our guys to come in and be ready to roll tomorrow and put forth a great effort. And like I said, if we can put together a game and get multiple guys knocking down shots, take care of the ball and defend to the high level, I have no doubt we can win.”
As the team prepares to play the Kings, Kerr is certain they can maintain their composure. But the Warriors are struggling with a variety of issues.
Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green are sidelined by injuries. After a scorching hot start to the season, Buddy Hield appears to have lost his shooting touch. After moving to San Francisco, Dennis Schroder is still getting used to his new surroundings. Kerr must figure out how to motivate his men.
Avoiding missing even the play-in slot must now be the main objective.
