Following Donald Trump’s terrible White House news conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, Tyson Fury delivered a strong message of solidarity.
After a furious argument between the two leaders, Trump ejected Zelensky from the White House, bringing the peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to a standstill in Washington, DC.
When Trump took offense by Zelensky’s treatment of his vice president JD Vance in front of the cameras on Friday, the heated verbal spar inside the Oval Office swiftly descended into chaos.
Additionally, British boxer Fury captured the moment on his Instagram story, perhaps enjoying Trump’s fury. In a rallying cry for the US Commander-in-Chief, the 36-year-old, who left the ring last year, posted a video of the contentious altercation to social media.
“The Gypsy King”: ‘Come on @realdonaldtrump sort it out baby,’
Later, Fury shared a screenshot of the 47th president’s remarks regarding the war of words, further demonstrating his support for the president. Fury went on to say, “Viva Trump.” “Stop the wars. @realdonaldtrump = peace in the world.”
Zelensky had brought the world heavyweight title of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk to the White House. It’s unknown if it was a replica or the actual belt. Usyk defeated Tyson last year to win the WBC undisputed title. In December, the Ukrainian boxer defeated Fury a second time.
But if Zelensky’s prize impressed Trump, it was not evident.
