Anthony Edwards Loves Being the Underdog Against the Lakers

Anthony Edwards is enjoying every moment of being underappreciated and isn’t flinching under the pressure of playing the Los Angeles Lakers.

As the Minnesota Timberwolves get ready to play the Lakers in the NBA playoffs’ opening round, the majority of the country’s media has already decided that LeBron James and company will advance. However, that is an incentive for Edwards rather than an insult.

According to Edwards, the Lakers are receiving the most of the focus. He said: “I just love it,”. “It’s dope. That’s how it’s supposed to be. Everyone wants the Lakers to win. I get it.”

For Edwards, who has always had a grudge after becoming famous, this is nothing new. The 22-year-old, who is starting his fourth postseason, is not only accepting of the underdog role, but flourishing in it.
