Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith Engage in Hillarious Argument About NBA Titles

There is never a dull moment on the set of TNT’s NBA coverage, despite its uncertain future. On Sunday evening, this was particularly true. Charles Barkley and Kenny, two analysts, engaged in a humorous argument about how many titles they each have during the league’s 2024–25 season awards announcement.

Smith, a two-time NBA champion with the Rockets, was given a card featuring the Defensive Player of the Year finalists by host Ernie Johnson, who said it was appropriate that he read them because the trophy for the award is named after his former Houston colleague, Hakeem Olajuwon.

Barkley said: “The guy that got you your two trophies,”

Smith retorted: “Who got you yours?” “Oops. Nobody.”

Despite earning the 1993 MVP award and being chosen an All-Star 11 times, Barkley never took home a championship during his 16 seasons in the NBA.

Perhaps it would be best if he simply said nothing about the championship.
