Mavericks GM Nico Harrison Doubles Down on His Luka Doncic Trade Decision

The NBA is still reeling from the shock of Luka Doncic‘s abrupt departure from the Dallas Mavericks. The trade has already been called one of the most unfair transactions in the history of the modern league by numerous pundits. Nevertheless, general manager Nico Harrison is unflinching and maintains that he has no regrets in spite of Dallas’ terrible outcomes.

Harrison reiterated his position and emphasized the rationale for dealing the 25-year-old superstar during a recent roundtable discussion that followed the end of the Mavericks’ turbulent season.

Harrison stated, as reported by Briauna Brown of CBS News: “There’s no regrets on the trade,”. “Part of it is doing the best thing for the Mavs.”

Mavericks supporters, many of whom are still furious about the sudden decision, have not been placated by that reason. A player who had just months before guided Dallas to an NBA Finals run, Doncic was not just a generational talent but also the team’s public face. His departure felt more than just a basketball deal because of his relationship with the city and its supporters.
