A woman named Christina Mattoscio had a close call with death when a humongous tree came crashing down right onto her car. I mean, talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time!
But here’s the insane part – she managed to escape without a scratch! It’s like something out of a movie, I swear. The whole thing was caught on surveillance cameras, and let me tell you, it’s one wild video. It’s like watching a scene from an action movie, I swear. The tree just comes crashing down out of nowhere, and this brave woman somehow manages to cheat death.
Footage from Karco Gas Station, located just across the street, shows the moment the tree landed on the car. What followed was pure adrenaline. Mattoscio, clearly disoriented and in shock, burst out of the driver’s seat and ran toward the vehicle in front of her.
John De Bow, who watched from the gas station roof, said on ABC7, “She came inches from death. She almost died.” He added, “I heard cracking, and then I looked over and I saw it starting to fall, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God,’”
Another eyewitness, a gas station owner who requested anonymity, told FOX 29 his account of the incident. “She started running she was so scared, I don’t have the words. I was shocked. Clearly nobody died so God bless everybody,” he said.
Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that Mattoscio suffered injuries and went to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities did not release details about her condition, but confirmed that she survived the ordeal.
It makes you think, doesn’t it? We never know when something unexpected could come along and change our lives forever. But for now, let’s just be thankful for this woman’s incredible luck and hope that we never have to experience anything quite as terrifying. Stay safe out there, folks!
