The former All-Pro wide receiver got into a furious altercation at a boxing event in Florida that Kick streamer Adin Ross was hosting on Friday night, adding to Antonio Brown‘s post-NFL downward spiral. The event is the most recent in a long line of public disputes involving the former NFL player, which began with an attempted chain-snatching and ended with a claimed shooting.

Eyewitness reports and sparsely available video footage online claim that Brown got into a fight after someone attempted to take a chain off his neck.

Security stepped in to break up the altercation as it developed. According to reports, Brown kicked one of the security guards who had tried to help him during the altercation.

Antonio Brown opens up on social media about robbery

When Brown allegedly produced a gun, chased the robber, and fired a shot into the air, the scenario took a sharp turn for the worse. It seemed as though Brown was arrested shortly after the arrival of police authorities. However, Brown has since denied that he was taken into custody.

On X, he wrote: “Regarding the boxing event that happened last night,”. “I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.

“Yeah.. I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me.

“I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process.”
