MLB Fan Gets Hurt After Falling From PNC Park’s Outfield Wall

The incident was so horrific that Pirates manager Derek Shelton later urged “everyone to keep him in their prayers.” On Wednesday night, an MLB fan suffered serious injuries after falling from an outfield wall at PNC Park.

The horrifying incident occurred during the seventh inning of the Pirates vs Cubs game when a man in right field leaped up from his seat and then fell all the way to the warning track, which was about 20 feet below him.

He seemed to topple over several times in midair before he crashed to the ground. He looked still, but trainers rushed out to tend to him right away.

In the end, he was strapped to a stretcher and transported to a local medical facility. After the game, neither Shelton nor his team received an update on his condition… but it was obvious that the Pittsburgh coach was shaken by what had happened.

While the man was being attended to, the game was postponed; nevertheless, play soon resumed. The Pirates prevailed 4-3, but it’s obvious that nobody was thinking about the game’s result.
