Fans of LeBron James Are Going Crazy Over His Mysterious Statement

LeBron James is still alive and well. The Los Angeles Lakers player has rekindled supporters’ expectations by implying a potential comeback next season as the NBA Finals draw to a dramatic close.

When the Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening round of the playoffs, “King” James’ season ended sooner than anticipated. The great forward’s knee injury at the end of the season made things worse.

Most analysts believe James will exercise his player option, which would award him $52.6 million and guarantee his return to the Lakers for the 2025–2026 season, while he continues his recovery. The NBA legend is already planning for the upcoming season.

James’ latest remarks to the Associated Press make it plain that retirement is not yet an option, even if he has not formally confirmed his return.

But the four-time champion, who is 40 years old and starting his 23rd NBA season, admits that his career is coming to an end.
