A video has emerged featuring Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, their HR chief, engaged in a tender moment at a recent Coldplay concert, well before their romance became publicly known.
The tech community was taken aback last week when footage of Byron and Cabot at Gillette Stadium went viral across social media. At the Coldplay concert in Boston on July 16, the duo was captured on the kiss cam while dancing closely to the music.
Upon realizing their moment was being displayed to thousands in attendance, they hurriedly tried to duck out of view, which only heightened the intrigue across the internet.
In the original viral clip, Byron can be seen holding Cabot close and, upon spotting themselves on the jumbotron, he exclaims, “F-king hell, it’s me,” before trying to hide from view.

Cabot also appeared flustered, turning to someone nearby and commenting, “This is awkward.”
Chris Martin, the lead singer of the band, inadvertently added to the speculation by joking: Â “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy. I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
Now, a second video acquired by TMZ shows the couple kissing and embracing during the performance of Yellow, adding credence to the idea of a budding romantic relationship between the two senior leaders.
The new footage suggests that the two were already displaying affection for one another well before the kiss cam caught them, as they can be seen hugging and exchanging quick kisses.
They display no signs of surprise or discomfort in this earlier video, indicating that their closeness was not a spur-of-the-moment situation that has now become part of internet legend.
