Giannis Antetokounmpo Adds Fuel to Knicks Rumors

The persistent requests for Giannis Antetokounmpo to be dealt to the New York Knicks were addressed by the player. The Greek Freak was prompted to discuss the rumors that purportedly linked him to the New York Knicks by online personality IShowSpeed.

Giannis Antetokounmpo made a visit on Speed’s social media network to confront the rumors linking him to Manhattan. Antetokounmpo disclosed that his consultants had kept the Knicks in his ear, while Speed pointed out that New York taxes might be sufficient to deter someone from moving to the large metropolis.

To Speed, Antetokounmpo acknowledged: “A lot of people have tried to convince me, tried to convince me to go there and play there and stuff,”

Antetokounmpo said, “Probably, we’ll see,” in response to the question of whether he would remain in Milwaukee. Since the Bucks have suffered three straight first-round losses in the Eastern Conference tournament, Antetokounmpo, who has played his entire NBA career in Milwaukee, was reportedly keeping a closer watch on the team’s offseason activities. In response, the team re-upped with Gary Trent Jr., Bobby Portis, and Kevin Porter Jr. and added Myles Turner, a former playoff rival of the Indiana Pacers.

However, the Bucks cut Damian Lillard after two seasons to make place for Turner, which reportedly infuriated Antetokounmpo, who wants to add to his collection of championships, which includes a postseason ring in 2021.
