Shilo Sanders signed a three-year contract worth $2.965 million with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers despite not being selected in the draft. The former Colorado Buffaloes safety is vying for a spot on the final roster after making an impression during team training.
Shilo is avoiding the bad press his brother, Shedeur, had after receiving several speeding citations in Cleveland for the time being. However, he made a choice this week that he may later regret.
Despite the NFL’s abundance of multimillion-dollar contracts, Shilo only received a meager $1,572 signing bonus as a UDFA.
Sanders demonstrated his competitive spirit by hitting a miniature golf course with his friend and creative director, Dom, and being unable to play without risking $1,000.
In a video that was uploaded to his YouTube page, Shilo stated: “I’m about to take your money. $1,000. I’m about to take your money.”
With unabashed confidence, Shilo retaliated: “I don’t know why he’s so confident, y’all, but he really trash. I could tell.”
Sanders lost the wager against Dom because of his poor mini-golf performance. However, he paid up as promised.
