On Wednesday night, the two WNBA teams with the worst records faced off against each other: the Sun and the Sky. In a game that included jersey-grabbing, pushing, shoving, and numerous ejections, Connecticut defeated Chicago.
Bria Hartley of the Sun and Rebecca Allen of the Sky get entangled in a scuffle over position on a rebound during the second quarter. The two players got a piece of each other even if neither got the rebound.
Allen seemed to shove Hartley away and to the ground as they both seemed to grasp hold of one another. Hartley landed on the ground, then reached up to pick up Allen’s jersey.
Bria Hartley, they can call you a whole lot, but one of those things better be consistent! she fears nothing and nobody💀 pic.twitter.com/B2WmVlcJoU

Ariel Atkins of Chicago rushed in, pushed a referee aside, and attempted to get in Hartley’s face while the two were separated. Additional participants engaged in varying degrees of peacemaking and kept those two apart.
In the end, Hartley, Allen, and Atkins were all dismissed after a protracted examination.
