Baseball Prodigy Nick Danbrowney Has Tragically Passed Away at the Age of 22

Nick Danbrowney, hailing from New Jersey, lost his life in a horrific car accident in North Carolina on August 18. He was a passenger in a vehicle being operated by 65-year-old Rosario Edgar, according to ABC News 13.

The car was reportedly driving at high speed when it veered off the road and flipped over. Danbrowney was ejected from the vehicle and was declared deceased at the scene. Edgar was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The young athlete had recently signed a contract with the Bakersfield Train Robbers in California. He distinguished himself as a standout player during his time at Barnegat High School and Ramapo College. The team’s manager, Bill Rogan, expressed that he was “numb” in a statement.

A GoFundMe campaign was established for his family. By Friday morning, it had collected over $36,000.
