Eddie Hearn Claims Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua Is On!

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul are negotiating a real bout, and according to Eddie Hearn, AJ’s longtime promoter, it may take place “early next year!”

When the Matchroom Boxing president, who has been working with Joshua for more than ten years, joined Babcock on the “TMZ Sports” TV, Hearn stunned us. Hearn said:

“I just thought to myself, this is Jake Paul creating headlines. He’s not going to fight Anthony Joshua. And in every conversation I have with [Jake’s partner] Nikisa and MVP, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, they actually think they can beat him,'”

“And I think there’s a very good chance you’re going to see it next!”

“This isn’t Jake Paul fighting Mike Tyson … this is AJ, sorry, Jake Paul fighting one of the most dangerous fighters, pound for pound, in the sport.”

“[Jake] will get AJ at 100% of his best and most dangerous, so, good luck!”

Not in five years, perhaps, but next! If anyone knows, the main focus of the conversations is Eddie, AJ’s representative.

Is there any chance that the 28-year-old Problem Child, who is 12-1 (with seven knockouts) and much smaller, will defeat the 35-year-old, 6’6″, 260-pound former heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist?
