On his day off, CeeDee Lamb was tackled and given a penalty. After being struck by an official on the sidelines, the Dallas Cowboys’ top wide receiver received a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
The official, who was rushing with his focus on the play, smashed into Lamb’s back as he was celebrating teammate Jonathan Mingo getting open while standing on the sideline with his arm in the air.
It was referred to as a “foul against an official.”

After the collision, Lamb, the Pro Bowl player, seemed unharmed and even started joking with his teammates.
For a 51-yard gain, Mingo also drew a defensive pass interference call from cornerback Shaun Jolly of the Los Angeles Rams. The Cowboys went from being 3rd and 16 at their own 26-yard line to being 1st and 25 at the Rams’ 38-yard line as a consequence.
