For the past year or so, Jayden Daniels has been the target of a lot of online abuse because his mother is always with him. Accusing her of being overly protective, they maintain that the 24-year-old is an adult who is capable of making his own decisions. However, the sophomore quarterback is expressing that he doesn’t give a damn about the rumors.
Daniels’ mother, Regina Jackson, is undoubtedly a bit of a helicopter parent. She even went viral this offseason for allegedly ruining the relationship between Jayden and Juju Watkins, the star of the USC women’s basketball team. A later dinner rendezvous with him ended with her being caught third-wheeling.
Jayden, however, stated in his most recent interview that he doesn’t mind a lot of what she does.
The NFL Network was informed by Daniels: “She’s a mom first. She’s always going to be there to uplift me. But if I’m doing wrong, she’s going to let me know. So, even though I’m 24 years old, I’m still a grown man, but I still gotta listen to my mom at some point,”

All of this is true of Daniels. He hasn’t done anything careless and is a bright youngster who handles stress well. His mother instilled in him a great sense of self-assurance and security. It has provided him with a strong foundation and model upon which to build his life.
