Baseball hasn’t had a superstar like Shohei Ohtani in many centuries. On any given swing, the Dodgers’ ace has the strength at the plate to put a ball in the upper deck. Additionally, he has an arm at the pitcher’s mound that easily stops batters. Is the Japanese legend a greater baseball player than Michael Jordan?
This query was raised in the most recent Club 520 podcast episode. Ohtani’s most recent MLB performance was examined by host Jeff Teague and the other members of his panel.
After blasting a ball into the bleachers, the 31-year-old ballplayer drove in two runs and struck out eight batters. Teague was rather impressed, even though the Dodgers lost the game somehow.
Teague inquired: “So, who [do] you compare him to in any other sport?” “I don’t know who [is] doing that.”
“I mean, Michael Jordan won MVP, defensive player of the year, and the scoring title. He had the scoring title and the DPOY title in the same year,”
“I won’t say he’s more dominant, but I will say he’s more impressive,”

Jordan didn’t always lose. Conversely, he was unable to overcome the hump in the early stages of his career. However, after conquering that mountain, he started a championship legacy that is difficult to surpass. In the NBA Finals, going 6-0 is practically impossible. Unless your name is MJ, it’s impossible.
