Online criticism has been directed at a woman who allegedly stole a home run ball from a father and a boy during a Major League Baseball game between the Miami Marlins and the Philadelphia Phillies.
A video that has gone viral on social media shows the man picking up the ball after it lands in the stands close to the woman’s seat. The dad hands the toddler the ball after approaching the boy, who may be his son. After placing the ball in his glove, the child gives the two a hug.
Swiftly coming toward them, the woman puts her hand on the man’s arm. It appears that the woman is shouting at the male, who is looking shocked.
Remember that KAREN who made a spectacle of herself over a home run baseball? Well, in the end this young man made out like a bandit thanks to the @Phillies 🥰♥️🤍💙🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/Wj5QJIDsE2

Twenty seconds or so later, the man turns to face the youngster and takes the ball out of his mitt. Then, before she leaves, he gives the woman the ball.
Internet detectives said the woman should be held accountable after the event caused considerable indignation. Some referred to her as “a Karen,” claiming that she “made a spectacle of herself,” while others insisted on her identity.
Now, however, there are new developments. The child ended up with the last laugh and a signed bat from Harrison Bader.
