As the Dallas Cowboys held the Green Bay Packers in a 40-40 draw on Sunday Night Football, Dak Prescott continued to produce. The quarterback completed 31 of 40 throws for 319 yards and three touchdowns, including a rushing touchdown for good measure, all while avoiding his former teammate Micah Parsons.
But let Stephen A. Smith bring it back to earth before anyone gets too worked up over what appears to be outstanding quarterback play versus a Super Bowl contender.
On Monday’s First Take, Smith pondered: “Why are we acting like it’s such a big deal,” “What is Dak Prescott’s problem,”. “Dak Prescott is 30-plus games over .500 as a starter. His issue has never been the regular season. A matter of fact, he plays better and the Cowboys win more in November and December than they do in September and October. The issue is once January rolls around and the postseason arrives. That brother got an APB out for him. You can’t find him.”

After reciting Prescott’s powerful statement, Smith declared himself “so touched.”
