The eighth In a devastating double overtime defeat to Virginia, Florida State suffered its first loss of the season. The crowd rush on the field just a second after quarterback Thomas Castellanos was picked off in the end zone on fourth down to finish the game was the biggest sting of all.
Given that Florida State players and coaches had not yet left the field—in fact, they had not yet left the end zone—that field storming is most likely going to cost Virginia a hefty fine.
Castellanos was booed a lot as he left the field, but fortunately a coach was present to lead him into the locker room.
One Virginia supporter even went by and gave Castellanos the finger while filming him. In all honesty, it was a nasty move on the part of the fan, but Florida State supporters may be proud that Castellanos remained composed and chose to act honorably.

The young quarterback would have looked worse and would have even been suspended if Castellanos had responded by pushing the man, possibly hitting him, or even engaging in a verbal argument.
