Giannis Antetokounmpo reminded everyone during the Bucks-Knicks showdown that he’s not here to play basketball, he’s here to violate the rules and get away with it. The moment? A drive so brutal on Karl-Anthony Towns that fans are still looking for what’s left of KAT’s pride.
Fans on X didn’t hold back as they called out officials for not blowing the whistle for that clear traveling violation.
Recently, Giannis caught attention for his grit during a tense on-court moment with Scottie Barnes after Barnes tried to flex on him. The Bucks are now 2-1 for the season. They faced the New York Knicks on Tuesday. During the game, a particular play involving Giannis sparked major online debate.
During one possession, Giannis drove to the basket against Karl-Anthony Towns and appeared to take several steps without dribbling.
However, the Bucks ended the night with a 131-122 win against New York. Giannis had 31 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in 33 minutes. It marked Giannis’ first win against the Knicks since December of 2023.
At this point, the NBA might need to install speed limits on Giannis. Because every time he drives, someone’s reputation gets ruined. And Karl-Anthony Towns? Yes, we hope he’s recovered from that violation and humiliation.
Was this a travel? 🤨
