While fights between fans usually occur between rival teams, in this instance, it was Hurricanes fans engaging in a dramatic wrestling-style altercation post-game.

Louisville pulled off an unexpected victory against the No. 2 ranked Hurricanes, winning 24-21, largely due to quarterback Miller Moss’s impressive performance (248 passing yards and three total touchdowns) and a defense that intercepted Carson Beck four times. A visibly frustrated Beck even blamed his teammates, mentioning miscommunication following the game’s conclusion.

After the match, some furious Miami Hurricanes fans took their disputes outside, resulting in an intense physical confrontation. There has been no update on whether any arrests were made or if those involved in the altercations faced bans from Hard Rock Stadium.
Prior to the 2024 NCAA season, Beck was seen as a top contender to be the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, he opted to leave Georgia for Miami, where he received a substantial NIL deal.
