Julian Fleming is charged with nine different offenses, according to court documents. These include one crime of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, one case of homicide by vehicle, and one act of aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence.
The documents also state that Fleming allegedly had a blood alcohol content of.118 not long after the collision.
David Bahuriak, the lawyer for Julian Fleming, told TMZ Sports that his client is charged with homicide by car, and he believes the prosecution’s submission is “wrong.”
The attorney stated: “In my view,” “the prosecution here took a tragic and unavoidable accident and turned it into a crime when the facts don’t support that. The facts don’t support criminal homicide.”
Fleming “lost the love of his life” in the collision, Bahuriak continued, and “this prosecution does nothing to advance the interests of anyone.”
