Leena Sayed has stepped up to deny rumors that her baby daddy, boxer Devin Haney, abused her. And how did she do it?
She hopped on her Instagram Story and trashed reports of being abused by Devin.
In a recent Instagram Story, Sayed addressed growing speculation around her past statements, writing, “The news reports that alleged that I said I was physically harmed by Devin were not accurate.” She went on to stress that she and Haney are now focused on co-parenting their daughter and moving forward as peacefully as possible.
This comes months after Sayed filed for a restraining order against Haney, during which she alleged that he physically assaulted her while she was pregnant.
Haney has always denied those accusations and later hit back legally, filing a defamation and extortion lawsuit against Sayed. In his legal response, he claimed her statements severely damaged his image and career. He also filed a separate civil suit seeking the return of hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of gifts.
Now, with Sayed’s public reversal, it appears both parties are looking to shift away from the legal chaos and focus on their roles as parents.
To sum it up: no drama, no abuse, just another day of celebrity couples denying ordeal in the hands of their partners.
