Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Reveals Why He Doesn’t Hear Many Offensive Remarks From Other NBA Players

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is intelligent and a true talent.

The Thunder’s star guard won his first NBA MVP award the previous season before leading Oklahoma City to the NBA championship and winning Finals MVP. At the age of 27, he has reached the summit of the league. Gilgeoius-Alexander has managed to keep opponents from getting on his nerves, even when the rest of the league is focused on defeating the Thunder.

In a Monday-released GQ piece, he stated:

“Guys don’t really talk s— to me,”. “I don’t do nothing that warrants talking s—. I go out there, I have 30, we win, I go home. I’m not out there doing crazy stuff.”

He is correct, but he exudes confidence. Before the Thunder’s run to the championship, they won 68 games in the regular season, and he averaged a league-high 32.7 points per game.
