DeVonta Smith isn’t someone who minces his words. Despite not having their best offensive performance against the Packers on Monday night, the Eagles managed to defeat Green Bay 10-7 to maintain their top spot in the NFC standings. Early in the fourth quarter, wide receiver DeVonta Smith extended Philadelphia’s lead with a 36-yard catch in the end zone, his team’s only touchdown of the game.
He was asked about all the rumors around the Eagles in a live interview with Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter following the game as a result of his heroics.
Smith’s reaction to the sound was very cold.
“If you ain’t got no haters you ain’t doing something right.”

Clearly, Philadelphia has had enough recent success to rank among the top football teams. Additionally, they have a group of characters under the leadership of a head coach who is driven by his own desires. It makes perfect sense that they are prevalent in every run-down area and have become somewhat of a contentious issue. Additionally, they have added some of their own drama to the circus.
