ESPN Prepares To Replace Host Elle Duncan As She’s Rumored To Join Netflix

ESPN is reportedly preparing to replace SportsCenter host Elle Duncan amid Netflix rumors.

SportsCenter may soon sound different. According to industry insiders, ESPN is allegedly preparing to replace longtime host Elle Duncan, who’s rumored to be making a jump to Netflix. Yes, the land of binge-watching, true crime documentaries, and shows you accidentally finish at 3 a.m. may soon have its own dose of sports personality energy.

And ESPN? They’re reportedly polishing up the “breaking news” graphics and quietly hunting for her replacement like they’re drafting a superstar free agent.

Now let’s be clear, this is all rumor. No official confirmation yet. But where there’s smoke, there’s usually someone in media holding a mic.

Duncan – who also hosts the women’s college basketball version of ‘College GameDay’ as well as ‘WNBA Countdown – has not yet been confirmed for the job.

However, according to FrontOfficeSports, a ‘stampede’ of on-air talent has been racing to try and be Duncan’s eventual replacement.

‘The resumes are flying. There’s going to be a lot of people fighting for these jobs. Burke’s phone is going to be lighting up,’ one source told FOS, referring to ESPN president of content Burke Magnus.

FOS reports that Duncan is still discussing her future with ESPN’s management – as her contract expires at the end of 2025.

Whether it’s officially happening or just hot gossip, one thing is clear: SportsCenter without Elle Duncan is like halftime without highlights, technically watchable but significantly less entertaining.

So ESPN may replace her. Netflix may recruit her. And fans? They’re already preparing to hit play.
