Ex-Rockets Player Reggie Bullock is making headlines after unveiling his $10 million island in Belize.
When most players retire from basketball, they buy a nice house, maybe a boat, and call it a day. But Reggie Bullock? No. The former Houston Rockets forward has dropped $10 million on his very own island in Belize. Because apparently, having a beach house wasn’t exclusive enough.
Bullock recently unveiled his tropical paradise to the world, and let’s just say, this isn’t your average Caribbean getaway. We’re talking about whole island.
What did you all expect from a player who earned a whopping $53 million in the NBA? He went big on this one and it’s not surprising.
Fans online were quick to react, and the reactions are mostly praises and how wise he is to put up this massive investment.
But in all seriousness, you’ve got to give the man credit. Not every athlete thinks beyond the game. While some are still figuring out what to do after basketball, Bullock is out there thinking big. He’s officially joined the “rich people with private islands” club.
At the end of the day, we can’t all own islands, but we can admire his. Reggie Bullock didn’t just retire, he leveled up. And somewhere out there, his old teammates are probably texting, “Bro, when is the invite?”
