Oscar De La Hoya and Millie Corretjer have officially resolved their divorce, ending a legal chapter that stretched years. The boxing legend and his former wife negotiated a settlement after filing for divorce in early 2023.
They originally separated in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences”, even though their marriage had ended long before the court case began. The pair married in October 2001, and over the years welcomed two children together.
De La Hoya decided not to pursue any spousal support, and Corretjer will receive the payments outlined in their deal. The settlement also includes provisions for property division and child support for their two minor children. However, the exact financial and property terms remain private. The settlement now closes a lengthy chapter that lingered for nearly a decade. Now, only a judge’s signature remains to make the settlement official.
Meanwhile, De La Hoya seems to be in a happier place: he’s been romantically linked to Holly Sonders since they met at a boxing event in 2021, and the two have kept their relationship in the public eye.
De La Hoya continues to stay active in the public eye and appears grounded as he focuses on his life outside the ring. The settlement now gives both former partners a clean slate.
