T-Pain says DJ Khaled was a fake friend during an interview with Shannon Sharpe.
T-Pain has officially entered his “I’m too old for fake friendships” era, and honestly, we support it. During a recent sit-down with Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay, he tossed DJ Khaled under the “fake friend” bus. And he didn’t even use auto-tune on it. Just raw, unfiltered energy.
The internet loves drama, and T-Pain brought snacks.
According to T-Pain, DJ Khaled has been acting more Hollywood than a Marvel movie premiere. Apparently, there was a time when they were cool, collaborations, conversations, brotherhood vibes. Then Khaled went full “We the Best!” mode and started forgetting people like T-Pain exists.
It’s crazy to hear their partnership corrode like this … T-Pain actually helped Khaled earn his FIRST-EVER Platinum plaque back in 2008 through their “I’m So Hood” anthem, but the chili peppers are now under the bridge.
T-Pain says the most invaluable lesson he learned was that nobody is your brother — especially those who always tell you they are!!!
In the end, T-Pain kept it classy. No beef, just honesty with a side of comedy. He simply reminded us that fame changes people, but T-Pain will still roast you on national platforms if you fake it.
Moral of the story: check on your friends before they check you on Club Shay Shay and that is what T-Pain did to DJ Khaled on the Club Shay Shay podcast.
