A leaked video has shown the massive damage the fire has done to Erik Spoelstra‘s home.
A chilling video has surfaced showing the devastating aftermath of the fire that tore through Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra’s home, and it’s enough to break anyone’s heart. The man who’s controls the court is now staring at ruins off it, the place he once called home reduced to a smoke and ashes.
The footage captures what words can barely describe, the house completely gone!
According to reports, a fire alarm went off at the coach’s residence in Coral Gables around 4:36 a.m.
The 5,772-square-foot property was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
Spoelstra, who reportedly purchased the property for $6.6 million in 2023, was returning from a road game in Denver and got to the scene shortly after landing in Florida at 5:11 a.m.
Over 20 fire units responded to the emergency, with crews finding two structures fully engulfed in flames. They employed a defensive strategy, given fears of a collapse. The blaze was said to be “as tall as the trees,” while smoke and ashes spread for over three hours.
Thankfully, Spoelstra and loved ones were unharmed, but that doesn’t make the pain any lighter.

Fans have flooded social media with messages of love and support, consoling Spoelstra.
As the video continues to circulate online, it serves as a painful but powerful reminder: no matter how successful, how strong, or how prepared you are, tragedy can still knock on your door.
Erik Spoelstra may have lost his home, but not his hope. If there’s one thing Miami knows about their coach, it’s this, he always finds a way to rise from the ashes.
