When the Warriors played the Suns at Chase Center in San Francisco on Saturday, Draymond Green‘s night came to an early end as he was called for two technical fouls early in the second quarter.
As the two teams went back to the opposite end of the floor, Green bumped into Collin Gillespie, a guard for the Suns, and shoved him. For the shove, Green was given the first technical, and for arguing after the fact, he received the second. Below, you can view the sequence:

As the two ran back, Gillespie seemed to stop in front of Green, which caused Green to reach out and push the Suns guard away.
It’s possible that tensions from Thursday’s Warriors vs. Suns game bubbled over. With 0.4 seconds remaining in a tie game, Phoenix won 99-98 thanks to a foul call that sent Suns guard Jordan Goodwin to the free-throw line.
Dillon Brooks, a forward for the Suns, committed a flagrant foul during Thursday’s game when he attempted to block Steph Curry’s three-point attempt by shooting at his stomach. After making a basket early in the first quarter on Saturday, Warriors star Jimmy Butler threw the ball toward Brooks.
In the following frame, Green was ejected. He had been called for four technical fouls so far in the 2025–2026 season, and he had 20 career ejections going into the game.
