The internet has found its newest sports obsession, and no, it’s not a game-winning touchdown. It’s flag football quarterback Amya Corulla, who managed to break ankles, defenses, and timelines all at once. She showed up, showed out, and accidentally sent social media into a full meltdown.
Amya hit the field wearing a tight, performance-ready outfit designed for speed, movement, and, apparently, chaos. Fans were supposed to be watching her footwork and arm strength. Instead, many forgot how sports work entirely. The comment sections turned into a mix of awe, disbelief, and people pretending they’ve “always supported women’s flag football.”

In the footage, Amya Corulla can be seen showcasing her skills in a tight-fitting outfit. She certainly has an incredible arm and accuracy. However, it was clearly her shape that stole the show for people watching the video.

Amya regularly played flag football for both a local team and a travel team. In 2022, she graduated from Tottenville High School. In that same year, she joined the THT Flag Football travel program. They were the No. 2-ranked team in the US behind another Island program. Four players from the THT squad were offered scholarships. It was to attend Cottey College in Missouri.
At the end of the day, Amya Corulla didn’t just show off a tight outfit. She showed off control, confidence, and real quarterback skills. The outfit may have pulled fans in, but the talent kept them watching.
And if flag football keeps getting this kind of attention, leagues might want to send her a thank-you card.
