Jeffery Simmons Threatens Thieves For Breaking Into His Home

Jeffery Simmons is threatening thieves who broke into his home during Titans game.

Timing is everything. Unfortunately for some very unlucky thieves, their timing was terrible. While the Tennessee Titans were busily on a trip to San Francisco, Jeffery Simmons was dealing with a much different kind of a situation. Thieves broke into his home. Yes, while on a team trip. Bold choice. Bad choice.

Simmons did not take the news calmly. He did not whisper. He did not shrug. He went straight to social media and let the world know he wouldn’t back down until the thieves get what they deserve.

He wrote;

God is the Greatest and I’m his son!! Whoever you are just know he sits high and look low. You’ll get what you deserve fxxking cowards!

Simmons is coming after whoever broke into his house.

Simmons posted several Instagram stories that implied he returned from the Titans’ 37-24 road loss against the 49ers to discover his home had been broken into. One of his social media posts included footage from what appears to be a home security system showing two masked people entering his house through the patio at about 7:30 p.m. CT Sunday.

“Team security is actively working with Metro Nashville Police Department to recover items stolen from Jeff Simmons’ house. No residents were home during the burglary,” the team said in a statement.

In a news release, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said it was investigating a burglary at Simmons’ home that happened shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday. The department said surveillance video showed at least six people entered the residence after “smashing out window glass.” Simmons called police around 1 a.m. Monday after having arrived home from San Francisco, the department said.

The good news, Jeffery Simmons’ family wasn’t home when the incident happened.

“What if any of my family members was in my house?? All that materialistic [expletive] you can have but this is crazy!” he said in one of his social media posts.

In the end, this story is a reminder. Athletes are people too. They deal with real problems. They get angry. They protect their families. And they absolutely do not appreciate thieves with bad timing.
