When Molly Qerim announced last month that she was departing ESPN and the First Take show, which she had co-hosted since 2015, it shocked the sports media community.
The 41-year-old Emmy Award winner has not yet disclosed her plans for the future. Since sharing a sad farewell on Instagram Stories, Qerim has maintained a comparatively quiet profile, writing in part:
“Hosting this show has been one of the greatest honors of my career. Every morning, I had the privilege of sharing this desk with some of the most brilliant, passionate, and entertaining voices in sports – and with all of you, the best fans in the world.”
She did return to the spotlight for one night on October 1st, when she traveled back to the University of Connecticut campus to chair a Q&A with Dan Hurley, the men’s basketball coach for the UConn Huskies.
Hurley stated, “I’m excited to share that we’ll be holding a Q&A for ‘Never Stop’… moderated by the great @mollyqerim!” a few weeks ago, but it hasn’t been seen until now.

When she met the UConn players, she looked “great” in her chic outfit for the occasion, which she shared on her Instagram Stories. “Home ❤️” was all she wrote.
Qerim loves the Huskies so much that she even wore a jersey on First Take following their April victory in the women’s natty.
