Texas woman Crystal Randall is in trouble for causing damages to 13 apartments while burning boyfriend’s clothes.
Crystal Randall woke up and chose chaos. Not texting, not blocking and not crying to friends. No, she chose fire, literal fire.
The Texas woman is now internet famous for allegedly burning her boyfriend’s clothes in a barbecue pit on an apartment balcony. Because nothing says “we’re done” like smoke damage and sirens. What started as a petty breakup move quickly turned into a full-blown disaster that damaged 13 apartments. Yes, thirteen. That’s not a breakup, that’s a neighborhood-wide announcement.
According to authorities, Randall tossed her boyfriend’s clothes into the barbecue pit like it was laundry day from hell. Shirts, pants, memories, all going up in flames. She reportedly thought she had the fire under control. Spoiler alert. She did not. The fire said, “I’m not done,” and came back for a sequel.
Officials said the woman attempted to put out the fire and thought she had. However, officials said the fire rekindled and got into the attic and spread to other apartments.
In all, 13 apartments were damaged from fire, smoke or water. There was also a collapse that occurred from the second floor to the first floor.
No injuries were reported.
Court documents state the woman, Crystal Randall, has been charged with arson.
She was also taken to the hospital for unknown reasons.
Crystal’s legal troubles aren’t over yet as assault charge has been added to her charges.
Later in the day, a firefighter was injured while battling a hotspot that rekindled. The firefighter is said to be in stable condition at the hospital.
An additional charge was filed against Randall for assault on a public servant.
The internet, of course, had a field day. People agreed on one thing, if you’re angry, just cry, yell, or eat ice cream. Do not light things on fire on a second-story balcony.
