Substitute teacher Madison Paige Jones is in grips of the law for possession of child porn and other sex crimes.
A serious allegation has placed substitute teacher Madison Paige Jones at the center of a criminal investigation and prosecution. Jones has been accused of having inappropriate relations with a child. The case has drawn attention because it involves a school setting and a minor, which raises immediate concern for student safety.
The school district confirmed that she’s done work with them this year, but the charges don’t appear to be related to their schools.
Madison Paige Jones, 30, is accused of possession of child pornography, indecency with a child, and aggravated sexual assault with a child. She was arrested in Midlothian on Friday.
Midlothian ISD confirmed to FOX 4 in a statement that Jones had worked for their schools as a substitute teacher, but only worked four days in the past year. She worked at Heritage High School on Nov. 19, the district said. Along with Heritage, Jones also subbed at Baxter Elementary, the district said.
Jones is no longer employed with the district.
Another suspect arrested was Paige’s boyfriend Zackery Dondlinger, who’s now waiting to be arraigned before court.
If the allegations are proven in court, serious consequences would follow. Crimes involving minors carry severe legal penalties. If the allegations are not proven, the accused still faces reputational damage that can be difficult to undo.
