Michele Tafoya, a Sports Reporter, Is a Minnesota U.S. Senate Candidate

Michele Tafoya, a former sports announcer who is now a conservative talking head, is getting more involved in politics by running for the Minnesota U.S. Senate.

On Wednesday, Tafoya posted a video on her X page that showed her standing on a football field and saying she wanted to clean up the system.

Tafoya said:  “When I look at Minnesota and Washington today, I see politicians selling out honest, hard-working people like you,”

In her campaign video, she also touched on a number of issues, such as struggling middle-class families, transgender athletes, and suspected government fraud under Tim Walz.

“I will protect what’s fair and safe, standing with our law enforcement officers, deporting dangerous criminals, and keeping female sports for female athletes, and I will make our lives affordable again,”

The 61-year-old Tafoya claimed that working as an NFL sideline reporter helped her get ready for the Senate by showing her how leadership functions outside of sports.
