Steve Kerr Gets Ejected From the Warriors-Clippers Game

During the fourth quarter of Monday night’s Warriors game against the Clippers, a furious Steve Kerr was sent off.

After several calls and non-called, including not calling the Clippers for goal-tending and calling a shooting foul on Steph Curry, Kerr became enraged with the referees. Later, Curry was fouled out of the game.

Gary Payton II and an assistant coach had to detain Kerr as he shouted at the referees and attempted to approach them on the court. With less than eight minutes left and the Warriors behind 81-74, Kerr was quickly removed.

As Kerr was removed, Snoop Dogg, who was announcing the game, remarked on the radio, “Oh no, Steve is going to be thrown out.” Take him out of there! Take him out of there! GP, please back him up. Steve is prepared to open fire on them. Steve is currently hammering Inglewood. Inglewood Get him, Steve. You’re in Inglewood.

The Warriors were hoping to improve to 20–17 and get their 20th victory of the year going into this game. Rather, Kerr was sent off as the Clippers won by a slim margin of 103-102.
