Ravens K Tyler Loop And His Fiancee Julia Otto Receive Hate Messages Over Missed Kick

Ravens’ Tyler Loop and fiancée Julia Otto getting slammed after a missed game-winning field goal.

Sunday night football ended. The Steelers won, and the internet immediately chose violence.

Ravens kicker Tyler Loop missed a potential game-winning field goal against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The ball sailed, hope vanished. Ravens fans screamed into pillows. And then, like clockwork, social media went full meltdown mode.

But it didn’t stop with Tyler.

The internet decided his fiancée, Julia Otto, needed to be dragged into it too, because apparently missing a kick now comes with a “family package” of online abuse. What a time to be alive.

On Sunday, the Ravens failed to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2021 following a 26-24 loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh, where Loop missed a potential game-winning field goal at the death.

In the days that have followed, Loop and his fiancee have been inundated with vile messages from frustrated Ravens fans on social media.

In the comment section on a pinned post on his Instagram page, which announced Loop and Otto’s engagement, angry fans left nasty messages for the kicker.

One disgruntled fan wrote: ‘You absolute choke artist missing that gimme field goal and costing us the division? Pack your bags, you’re a fraud and don’t deserve to be on the same team as Lamar and Derrick Henry’.

Another said: ‘You [sic] career will forever be defined by this moment. Always remember that [thumbs up]’.

‘Lamar gave you field position and you end the game like that? Literally kicked the post season straight in the trash.. you suck,’ another angry fan wrote.

Another added: ‘PACK YOUR F***ING BAGS WE GETTING TUCKER BACK BUD’.

Other vile comments referenced Loop and Otto’s engagement and encouraged the kicker’s fiancee to break off the marriage after his missed kick.

Tyler Loop will kick again, Julia Otto will keep supporting him, and fans will eventually move on to the next thing to yell about.

But for one long night, a missed kick turned into an online pile-on, because nothing says “I love football” like screaming at strangers on the internet.

Football is back, folks, and so is the chaos.
